The Contact Lenses that Automatically Changes the Focusing Power: Zoom In and Zoom Out

In this video, I will show you how some researchers make a prototype that one day, it may change the world. This is a next-generation vision technology that enables either the glasses or contact lenses with the capability of changing the focusing power of the lenses automatically.

We will also show you the video provided by the research team so you can see the prototype in action!

For example, looking down can automatically focus the lens on nearby objects, such as the text on a page in a book, while looking back can automatically focus the lens on a distant perspective. The sensitivity of the system can even be adjusted to detect multiple blinks of the eye, making it possible to switch the lens to a telephoto lens. This enables our eyes to see far away objects, just like a super character in the movie.
