The polymer battery inventor, the founder of APB batteries at Tokyo. Hideaki Horie. said, “The problem with making lithium batteries now is that it’s device manufacturing like semiconductors. The goal is to make it more like steel production. Because of the reactive nature of lithium with moisture in the air, lithium battery manufacturing must be manufactured in specialized rooms that are really dry and clean rooms.“
